After 10 minutes, Alifonso Apablaza made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Julio Dudagoitia in the 16th minute of play. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Juliano Armstrong advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 36th minute. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alifonso Apablaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Zé Simões hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alifonso Apablaza scored 0-5 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastian Sandberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Degerfors IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cobresal were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Fors made a kick off. Constantin Ionaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Selman Durkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cobresal's Candido Abeliuk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Degerfors IF. Juliano Armstrong hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Åke Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61stth minute of the game Modesto Iriarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Degerfors IF's Sebastian Sandberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Degerfors IF from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the game, Candido Abeliuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cobresal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degerfors IF the free kick. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Candido Abeliuk hit a great ball. Fredrik Isak kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play Cobresal's Candido Abeliuk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. José Julio Dudagoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constantin Ionaș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Eliasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Cobresal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Degerfors IF throughout the match.
