The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Hultstrand got free with Astor Aragones in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Astor Aragones successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute Tage Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Sverker Hydén kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Aragones. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Aragones should have stopped the shot. Astor Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Hydén in the 34th minute of play. Dündar Dunđer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Astor Aragones came out and tried to block the shot, but Dündar Dunđer slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Formentera! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Dündar Dunđer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Formentera booed when Stakbröte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dündar Dunđer didn't get a good kick on the ball.
