Gil Cearense hit a great ball. Silvério Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, SORRISO E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Luís Gustavo Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Caco Azevedo made a huge save. With a little luck, SORRISO E. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Torbjörn Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SORRISO E. Preator Edikt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
