Domingo Urki started the match with the kick off. Staffan Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Urki in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute, Domingo Urki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formentera fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Formentera's Astor Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Karlsson in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Billberg. In the 14th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Billberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute 龙建烨 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Cresencio to maneuver through the defense. Linköpings AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Domingo Urki scored to the left of an out of position Staffan Lind, making the score, 2-0. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Oliver Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Torstensson in the 33rd minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Astor Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Lind was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Paulo Enmanuel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Enmanuel really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Stefan Blomqvist hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Domingo Urki put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Staffan Lind. Domingo Urki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Staffan Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Formentera made a substitution. Blas Estevez replaced Paulo Enmanuel. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Carlsson to make the kick off. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Astor Aragones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Allan Karlsson. 63 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Urki came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Domingo Urki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Urki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Domingo Urki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Urki, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Domingo Urki came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Formentera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Urki couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, Domingo Urki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Staffan Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Petter Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staffan Lind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Urki's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Linköpings AIK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Formentera.
