The Linköpings AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Staffan Lind should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Selim Gulson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Staffan Lind was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Allan Karlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Allan Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linköpings AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Karlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Staffan Lind stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selim Gulson's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. FCFiratRom were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Linköpings AIK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anıl Ozan Şaki took the corner. At last the ball reached Jan-Olof Svartengren at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Linköpings AIK. 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Bedri Baykutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Selim Gulson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Staffan Lind was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute, Selim Gulson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCFiratRom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Stefan Blomqvist hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Anıl Ozan Şaki made a precise shot to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The Linköpings AIK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FCFiratRom were winning 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arvid Carlsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Selim Gulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Staffan Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FCFiratRom's Selim Gulson in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Linköpings AIK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Zebastian Wennerqvist got a free kick in the 79th minute. Selim Gulson in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Staffan Lind, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Trabzonlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Linköpings AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Selim Gulson scored to the left of an out of position Staffan Lind, making the score, 0-8. Staffan Lind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Trabzonlu in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selim Gulson in the 90th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Staffan Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FCFiratRom's İbrahim Trabzonlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Staffan Lind. That made the score 0-9 after 92 minutes of play. 97 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Staffan Lind had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İbrahim Trabzonlu. When the match was over FCFiratRom could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Linköpings AIK throughout the match.
