Constantin Ionaș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jim Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Julio Dudagoitia in the 13th minute of the match. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Ionaș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantin Ionaș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pere Jordi Jofre was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Pere Jordi Jofre kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Horia Tătaru succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 26th playminute. José Julio Dudagoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Constantin Ionaș was a little too slow when Torbjörn Nilsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 5-0. With a little luck, Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș got control of the ball when Horia Tătaru tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The Preator Edikt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cobresal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
