Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Loyola in the 3rd minute. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dráusio Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Anderson came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Tróia having to interfere. Diamantino Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Tróia having to interfere. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Walmyr Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Walmyr Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Intendencia AD's Jens Anderson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Anderson in the 26th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dráusio Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Intendencia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Dráusio Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Intendencia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuan Xi Xiong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Intendencia AD's Walmyr Loyola. But to his dismay, Walmyr Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dráusio Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráusio Tróia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Dráusio Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 47th minute of play.

In the 52nd minute of the match Igor Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers skillfully saved the ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Loyola took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Intendencia AD made a substitution. Luiz Paulo Brasil replaced Walmyr Loyola. Intendencia AD made a substitution. Pedro Luís Ferraz replaced Paulão de Souza. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Tróia having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Oriche came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Dráusio Tróia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dráusio Tróia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 84th minute of play forced Intendencia AD's goalkeeper Dráusio Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Intendencia AD's Igor Braga got a free kick in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Tróia saved Intendencia AD from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliu Tuver in the 92nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
