Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zac O'Donnell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Kian MacGregor in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BOMBILLO's Desiderio Amenedo. After a defensive mix-up in Scotland's zone, Rene Gandarillas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal and Rene Gandarillas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fletcher Main's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jóhann Padilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Rene Gandarillas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexander Higgins having to make a save. Alex Fortis kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Veremundo Verdeces struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOMBILLO. Jóhann Padilla didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 89th minute Rene Gandarillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Fletcher Main managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scotland's supporters rose to their feet, but Fletcher Main was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jóhann Padilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
