After 2 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuele Strano. After a rather tough play, Torino FC's Fedele Di Lorenzo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Torino FC's Fedele Di Lorenzo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fedele Di Lorenzo got free with Keld Paulsen in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Torino FC's Fedele Di Lorenzo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. In the 17th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco van Bommel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fedele Di Lorenzo in the 29th minute. Fedele Di Lorenzo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Keld Paulsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 32nd minute, Veselin Cvetičanin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fedele Di Lorenzos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Keld Paulsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Marco van Bommel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fedele Di Lorenzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Carter Busillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carter Busillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Fedele Di Lorenzo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 59th minute Fedele Di Lorenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Di Lorenzo in the 68th minute of play. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Fedele Di Lorenzo sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Busillo in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Veselin Cvetičanin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Veselin Cvetičanin made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The supporters of Torino FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nygaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veselin Cvetičanin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Enzo Azzolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Enzo Azzolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Fedele Di Lorenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veselin Cvetičanin in the 90th minute of play. Carter Busillo's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carter Busillo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Denmark booed when Torino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carter Busillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fedele Di Lorenzo in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Torino FC had won after a very even match.
