Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Betinho Damião started the match with the kick off. Astor Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Fontes in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Flavio Leobardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Christini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, BloodHounds F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Panos Karkantos came free, but Astor Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Damião in the 10th minute of play. BloodHounds F.C.'s Esteve Quintan got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Alim Karaman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy. Astor Ruy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, BloodHounds F.C.'s Flavio Leobardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Christini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Arnulfo Joachim put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of BloodHounds F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Edson Futebol Clube:s goal. 31 minutes in the game Dorian Sena did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Panos Karkantos. Alim Karaman took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Astor Ruy. Astor Ruy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Damião in the 35th minute of play forced BloodHounds F.C.'s goalkeeper Astor Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Panos Karkantos notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of BloodHounds F.C.'s Astor Ruy. Astor Ruy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, BloodHounds F.C.'s Telmo Nascimento got a free kick in the 46th minute. The BloodHounds F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Edson Futebol Clube were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Jacindo to make the kick off. If Esteve Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paul Christini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Karkantos in the 66th minute of play forced BloodHounds F.C.'s goalkeeper Astor Ruy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Betinho Damião kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Ruy. That made the score 1-5 in the 81 minute of play. Edson Futebol Clube's Lucas Hulk was substituted for Betinho Damião. 88 minutes into the match, BloodHounds F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fontes came free, but Astor Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Edson Futebol Clube players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
