The audience was convinced that Öztürk Baycan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofil Trela was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Kazım Kuthan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Fors in the 19th minute of the match. Teofil Trela came out of the goal and Öztürk Baycan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucjan Cerocki charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Cerocki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Aquiles Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. FC Pogipool Olsztyn's Conrado Javiar got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Pogipool Olsztyn walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
