ZorlaGeldik's Kazım Kuthan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Isias in the 9th minute of play. David Dewulf made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mustafa Namık Adak sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, ZorlaGeldik's Fuat Onursoy got a free kick in the 14th minute. Prudencio Isias struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Kazım Kuthan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Waldos. A collision led to ZorlaGeldik getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Mustafa Namık Adak hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Alvaro Pagomari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZorlaGeldik's Kazım Kuthan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Öztürk Baycan in the 22nd minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper David Dewulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Pagomari in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazım Kuthan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazım Kuthan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Isias's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 27 minutes, Prudencio Isias made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ZorlaGeldik's Kazım Kuthan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 minutes The Waldos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdulbaki Korkut who took care of the corner kick. Hilmi Koytans short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got David Dewulf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Prudencio Isias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazım Kuthan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 39thth minute of the game Prudencio Isias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZorlaGeldik's Kazım Kuthan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berten Imbrechs was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. David Dewulf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Namık Adak in the 45th minute of play. Kazım Kuthan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa Namık Adak was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kazım Kuthan was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The Waldos's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Erdiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kazım Kuthan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Dewulf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yılmaz Haksever in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Waldos's Justo Martino got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulbaki Korkut in the 72nd minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper David Dewulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jann Bavneby couldn't finish the play. The The Waldos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Waldos's Leandro Millrick was substituted for Alvaro Pagomari. In the 86th minute Mustafa Namık Adak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, ZorlaGeldik's Mustafa Namık Adak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Dewulf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Prudencio Isias had several of the ZorlaGeldik's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Kazım Kuthan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kazım Kuthan made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jann Bavneby sent off a good shot on target. Kazimierz Madajczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After some careless play in the The Waldos defense, Abdulbaki Korkut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Dewulf. The The Waldos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Dewulf should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Waldos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
