Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When United 11 FC's Ulrik Lindqvist in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ulrik Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, United 11 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Michel Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Tróia in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Michel Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sven-Arne Dalman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Ham came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Michel Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes of play, United 11 FC's Şerif Kutlualp made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Biörnberg. Michel Biörnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Michel Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 34th minute of play. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When United 11 FC's Aquiles Tróia in 51 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Arnout Reekers guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Michel Biörnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, United 11 FC's Lars Runeberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Biörnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 65th minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Michel Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Şerif Kutlualp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. United 11 FC's Tobias Landin was substituted for Stig Mellberg. After 67 played minutes United 11 FC got a freekick which was hit by Şerif Kutlualp. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Michel Biörnberg made a huge save. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by United 11 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michel Biörnberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michel Biörnberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Netherlands booed when United 11 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Ham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Lindqvist in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in United 11 FC's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Biörnberg came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Michel Biörnberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Michel Biörnberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
