The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Bakewell was the one to do the kick off. Idrottsklubben -03 were furious when Tommy Engström was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. August Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seth Tanner, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Bengt-Rune Ålberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Idrottsklubben -03 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Rune Ålberg couldn't finish the play. Kasey Gobey might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over August Karlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasey Gobey ran back to his position shaking his head. August Karlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tristram Ellerton, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
