In the 12th minute, Újlõrincfalva LC's Iván Koncz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeu Batista. Romeu Batista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With a little luck, Esporte Clube Zeus's Romeu Batista got control of the ball when Iván Koncz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Zeus's goalkeeper Romeu Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boldizsár Szabados. Esporte Clube Zeus's Romeu Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Zeus from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Luizinho da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esporte Clube Zeus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Újlõrincfalva LC the free kick. The supporters of Újlõrincfalva LC booed when Esporte Clube Zeus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizinho da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeu Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boldizsár Szabados in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Richárd Dárdai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iván Koncz went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Romeu Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 41 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Zeus's goalkeeper Romeu Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márk Lehoczky. Romeu Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iván Koncz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imre Vörös could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Romeu Batista made a huge save. Iván Koncz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romeu Batista came out and tried to block the shot, but Iván Koncz slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luizinho da Cunha to make the kick off. Romeu Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richárd Dárdai, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Romeu Batista was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Esporte Clube Zeus defense, Richárd Dárdai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Batista. The Esporte Clube Zeus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Batista should have stopped the shot. Richárd Dárdai scored 11-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeu Batista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Iván Koncz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Romeu Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boldizsár Szabados, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Iván Koncz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 82 minutes into the game, Újlõrincfalva LC's Richárd Dárdai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Batista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. After some careless play in the Esporte Clube Zeus defense, Boldizsár Szabados kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeu Batista. The Esporte Clube Zeus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Batista should have stopped the shot. Esporte Clube Zeus's Romeu Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Lehoczky in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Boldizsár Szabados put it in 16-0 from a short distance just to the right of Romeu Batista. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richárd Dárdai in the 93rd minute of play forced Esporte Clube Zeus's goalkeeper Romeu Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Esporte Clube Zeus's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Koncz came free, but Romeu Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Iván Koncz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. Újlõrincfalva LC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
