In the 13th minute, Anacleto Justin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Johnny Söderberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leon Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Dan Lindberg made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, Slussfors IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Ek to maneuver through the defense. Anibal Iratxo scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Lindberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Emanuel Österlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Slussfors IK were furious when Svante Gabrielsson was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Svante Gabrielsson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Slussfors IK's goalkeeper Dan Lindberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Iratxo. Dan Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Justin in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Ek to make the kick off. With a little luck, As de Copas's Leon Firmin got control of the ball when Isac Öberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slussfors IK's Tommy Sundin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Lindberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Slussfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Justin came free, but Dan Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slussfors IK's Dan Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Iratxo in the 59th minute of play. Dan Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Justin in the 73rd minute of play forced Slussfors IK's goalkeeper Dan Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Ek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Firmin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Fulgencio Valente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Lindberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Andres Palban charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Palban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Andres Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, Slussfors IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sonny Ek to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dan Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. As de Copas were victorious despite being under pressure from Slussfors IK for much of the match.
