In the 7th match minute, Atibaia Raiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Marx to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Atibaia Raiders's zone, Jonny Arvidsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Tande came out of the goal and Jonny Arvidsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claes Brogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deyver Son during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deyver Son kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Atibaia Raiders's Ricardinho Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Brogren in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute Claes Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Marx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jörgen Ennegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Claes Brogren took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ricardinho Tande to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Atibaia Raiders's Ricardinho Tande got control of the ball when Birger Hafström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rafael Marx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deyver Son in the 28th minute of play forced Ducktwig FC's goalkeeper Jörgen Ennegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Atibaia Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Arantes. Alf Bergström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute Claes Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Ducktwig FC's Claes Brogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Atibaia Raiders's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Brogren came free, but Ricardinho Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ricardinho Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claes Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Atibaia Raiders's Ramón Duarte got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ricardinho Tande stood somewhat misplaced when Birger Hafström came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deyver Son to strike the kick off in the second half. Deyver Sons short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Jörgen Ennegren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claes Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Tande having to interfere. Jens Hedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deyver Son took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Ennegren. Jörgen Ennegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Brogren in the 67th minute of play forced Atibaia Raiders's goalkeeper Ricardinho Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ducktwig FC's zone, Rafael Marx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Ennegren came out of the goal and Rafael Marx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Fernando Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ducktwig FC's Leo Vennersten quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Birger Hafström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The supporters of Atibaia Raiders booed when Ducktwig FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Willig didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ducktwig FC had played much better football throughout.
