Dan Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Schmidt in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Paulo Medeiros in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Lindberg saved Slussfors IK from getting behind. Dan Lindberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogério Alagoano went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dan Lindberg made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Rogério Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, José Paulo Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dan Lindberg. The goal made the score 2-0. Dan Lindberg was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and José Paulo Medeiros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. José Paulo Medeiros really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Österlund in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Paraense saved Goiás Esporte Clube from getting behind. Rogério Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Lindberg having to interfere. Östen Källberg's late challenge caught a Goiás Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Östen Källberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Östen Källberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Lindberg having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match, Rogério Alagoano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dan Lindberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 40 minutes Slussfors IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogério Alagoano who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eliézer Barros hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Schmidt in the 47th minute of play forced Slussfors IK's goalkeeper Dan Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnny Söderberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Goiás Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Goiás Esporte Clube's Rogério Alagoano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dan Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svante Gabrielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Slussfors IK's zone, Rogério Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Lindberg came out of the goal and Rogério Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Goiás Esporte Clube's Rogério Alagoano in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slussfors IK's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Daniel Schmidt sped through Slussfors IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dan Lindberg. In the 65th minute Rogério Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Lindberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Lindberg came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Goiás Esporte Clube's Rogério Alagoano. But to his dismay, Rogério Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 75th minute, Rogério Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Dan Lindberg. Slussfors IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Daniel Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Goiás Esporte Clube's José Paulo Medeiros in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slussfors IK's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliézer Barros during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eliézer Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Goiás Esporte Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
