The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Baptiste Demestre. After 4 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Ginoux. In the 4th minute of the match Rogério Alagoano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tord Waller skillfully saved the ball. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaël Rats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Cymbal to maneuver through the defense. Tord Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Medeiros in the 8th minute of play. Tord Waller came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Goiás Esporte Clube's Rogério Alagoano. But to his dismay, Rogério Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Medeiros in the 12th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Tord Waller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gaël Rats came free, but Natanael Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Waller made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Alagoano in the 17th minute of play. Rogério Alagoano made a great header on Goiás Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller managed to reach the ball for a save. Tord Waller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tord Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Omar Cardot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eymeric Cornec's late challenge caught a Goiás Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eymeric Cornec helped the player get up and apologised. Eymeric Cornec kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Alagoano came free, but Tord Waller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Le Stade Briochin UC's Tony Amadieu was substituted for Radomil Cymbal. Daniel Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tord Waller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Alagoano made a kick off. Tord Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Alagoano in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Paraense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Cardot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Le Stade Briochin UC's Tord Waller got control of the ball when José Paulo Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 55 minutes Le Stade Briochin UC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rogério Alagoano who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Goiás Esporte Clube's corner Rogério Alagoano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tord Waller quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Tord Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Alagoano. Gaël Rats took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Paraense. Natanael Paraense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 62nd minute, Daniel Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Demestre in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Rogério Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Tord Waller. Le Stade Briochin UC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Natanael Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Cardot in the 69th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Gaël Rats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. 85 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Tord Waller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Alagoano. After 86 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Jocelyn Benito. José Paulo Medeiros hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Serafim Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaël Rats in the 90th minute of play. Tord Waller made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Rogério Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Cardot in the 94th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Natanael Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Le Stade Briochin UC's Omar Cardot in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goiás Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal.
