In the 19th minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Brian Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Santikurtz was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 23 minutes in the game Prospero Salvado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Claudio Mino. C.A Gryffindor's attentive Bill Bill managed to snatch the ball when Prospero Salvado made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Montenegro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Santikurtz saved Indios Latinos from getting behind. C.A Gryffindor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brian Montenegro in the 26th minute. The corner led C.A Gryffindor's Brian Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomas Santikurtz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Brian Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Santikurtz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Denílson Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Brian Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Indios Latinos's zone, Denílson Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Santikurtz came out of the goal and Denílson Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cássio Corinth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Dimo in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Brian Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A Gryffindor's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Santikurtz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Brian Montenegro sped through Indios Latinos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomas Santikurtz.
Benjamin Dimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
