Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastian Percival started the match with the kick off. Ludomir Gleba came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Foley. But to his dismay, Spike Foley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ludomir Gleba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spike Foley, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ludomir Gleba came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Foley. But to his dismay, Spike Foley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dušan Ančic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ludomir Gleba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Percival's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Ludomir Gleba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Percival, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludomir Gleba was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético de Newell's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivoš Petráček was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Milan's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AC Milan's corner Fernando Ishmael fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dušan Ančic quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Howson in the 29th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Ludomir Gleba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Sebastian Percival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Gleba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AC Milan fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when AC Milan's Federico Lucero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Club Atlético de Newell's Pastor Eufemio in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Milan's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Sebastian Percival managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Percival was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludomir Gleba came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival. But to his dismay, Sebastian Percival quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 46th minute of the match AC Milan got a corner. Club Atlético de Newell's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivoš Petráček ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC Milan's Ivoš Petráček was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dušan Ančic in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sebastian Percival fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Gleba having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Golo Doro to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Golo Doro in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dušan Ančic saved Club Atlético de Newell from getting behind. AC Milan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivoš Petráček in the 53rd minute. Albert Gamble kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dušan Ančic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Doro in the 55th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, AC Milan's Golo Doro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dušan Ančic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When AC Milan's Golo Doro in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético de Newell's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Percival in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludomir Gleba saved AC Milan from getting behind. Federico Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dušan Ančic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, AC Milan's Ludomir Gleba got control of the ball when Sebastian Percival tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Lucero came free, but Dušan Ančic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Emanuel Izel got a free kick in the 76th minute. Club Atlético de Newell's Dušan Ančic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Doro in the 82nd minute of play. When Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC Milan's goalie prevented a goal. If Spike Foley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Lucero in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dušan Ančic saved Club Atlético de Newell from getting behind. In the 94thth minute of the game Federico Lucero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético de Newell's Dušan Ančic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético de Newell's Pastor Eufemio got a free kick in the 95th minute. The AC Milan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético de Newell's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético de Newell.
