Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme González in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernd Yuschni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni got control of the ball when Bican Koçak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bican Koçak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bernd Yuschni made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Douglas Lundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dito Tinoco was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme González in the 15th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cosme González sped through Hannover Reds's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernd Yuschni. Emilio Argina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dito Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Emilio Argina's late challenge caught a Fúria Amadora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Argina helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Hannover Reds got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Argina. Bican Koçak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Bernd Yuschni made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Natã Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fúria Amadora FC's zone, Lei Xiang Rong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dito Tinoco came out of the goal and Lei Xiang Rong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Álvaro Baldaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bican Koçak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernd Yuschni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Bernd Yuschni was a little too slow when Cosme González got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Baldaia in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Cosme González who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hannover Reds's Bernd Yuschni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme González to make the kick off. The supporters of Hannover Reds booed when Fúria Amadora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bican Koçak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Fúria Amadora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Voss came free, but Dito Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme González came free, but Bernd Yuschni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Bican Koçak put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bernd Yuschni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Argina in the 76th minute of play forced Fúria Amadora FC's goalkeeper Dito Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Bican Koçak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 played minutes Fúria Amadora FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Baldaia. The crowd rose to their feet as Willi Tilmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dito Tinoco. That made the score 5-1 in the 81 minute of play. In the 87th minute Emilio Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bican Koçak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bernd Yuschni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
