Jan-Åke Emander had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Cosme González's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fúria Amadora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Owls the free kick. Ubarna Harroyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dito Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubarna Harroyo ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Fúria Amadora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Harroyo came free, but Dito Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Owls succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fúria Amadora FC had controlled the match.
