José Paulo Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Arias in the 28th minute of play forced Taquaril SS's goalkeeper José Paulo Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Du Xuan Jian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golo Doro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but José Paulo Meira made a huge save. José Paulo Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Doro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Baltazar Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludomir Gleba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Lucero in the 37th minute of play forced Taquaril SS's goalkeeper José Paulo Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivoš Petráček took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Meira. José Paulo Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 47 minutes, Baltazar Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taquaril SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baltazar Azevedo to make the kick off. Baltazar Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Doro in the 54th minute of play forced Taquaril SS's goalkeeper José Paulo Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Santiago Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Milan's Mauro Eliu was substituted for Santiago Arias. Mauro Eliu scored 6-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Meira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Mauro Eliu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Paulo Meira. Taquaril SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Eliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. AC Milan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
