Nae Buteanu scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Paulo Meira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Paulo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Tande in the 38th minute of the match. José Paulo Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lobo Zornoza's shot from short distance in the 41st minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd play minute Amado Froila came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Paulo Meira. 1-5. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Azevedo in the 56th minute of play. José Paulo Meira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Célio Fontes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Amado Froila took a quick shot and it went in 1-7 without a chance for José Paulo Meira to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the game, Célio Fontes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Paulo Meira. Célio Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Brian Johnson was substituted for Lobo Zornoza. José Paulo Meira was a little too slow when Brian Johnson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 1-9. José Paulo Meira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Célio Fontes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-12 in the 86 minute of play. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's José Paulo Almeida was substituted for Geovânio Galvão. José Paulo Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Taquaril SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
