Austria's Fabio Auer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacifico Tejero in the 4th minute of play. Pacifico Tejero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Auer having to make a save. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. Pacifico Tejero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Auer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacifico Tejero, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacifico Tejero in the 22nd minute of play. Pacifico Tejero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Auer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of The Feyli Army booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Galishoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Pacifico Tejero put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabio Auer. Pacifico Tejero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Rafael Riedl hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Feyli Army's Edmund Bäck got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Austria's zone, Pacifico Tejero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Auer came out of the goal and Pacifico Tejero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Edmund Bäck made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pacifico Tejero in the 58th minute of the match. The Feyli Army made a substitution. Håkan Bäck replaced Reine Svanström. Fabio Auer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pacifico Tejero's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Pacifico Tejero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Nico Waismann. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Nico Waismann hit a great ball. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacifico Tejero in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, The Feyli Army's Patric Alstedt made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 78th play minutes Pacifico Tejero shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Fabio Auer and just under the crossbar into goal. 81 minutes into the game, Pacifico Tejero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nico Waismann fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austria's protests and gave Nico Waismann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Waismann to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, The Feyli Army's Pacifico Tejero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The audience was convinced that Pacifico Tejero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Auer was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacifico Tejero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Austria defense, Pacifico Tejero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Auer. The Austria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Auer should have stopped the shot.
