The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hasan Can Yerhum's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Mete y Raspa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manex Boliaga in the 56th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Hasan Can Yerhum heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Mete y Raspa FC's Justino Ramila got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mete y Raspa FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Justino Ramila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justino Ramila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güralp Asır in the 73rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Justino Ramila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Mete y Raspa FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Julen Barahona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
