Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 17th minute. Cedro Echeto charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cedro Echeto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El Palmar's Cedro Echeto got a free kick in the 21st minute. Takacs Tibor made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Major Barna immediately put the ball in play. In the 34th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 43rd minute of play forced El Palmar's goalkeeper Min Paris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Min Paris. That made the score 0-1 after 54 minutes of play. Min Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Min Paris was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. After 66 played minutes El Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Alarcon. Min Paris made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the match, El Palmar's goalkeeper Min Paris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Min Paris having to interfere. El Palmar's Lazcano Zapata was substituted for Quinito Feliu. Hungary's Antal Valentin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fran Azofra in the 91st minute of the match. The El Palmar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
