Richard Fantini started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Zandarin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Hermes came free, but Pedrinho Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedrinho Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erivaldo Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Aílton Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Fantini in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Dracena saved Reko-Recko 03™ from getting behind. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aílton Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Délio Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zandarin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reko-Recko 03™ the free kick. Wiliam Cardoso struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Pedrinho Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reko-Recko 03™. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Aílton Amorim got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Erivaldo Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Reko-Recko 03™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erivaldo Esteves couldn't finish the play.

Reko-Recko 03™'s Hernani Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chico Dracena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aílton Amorim went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Eliézer Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zandarin FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Michel Urbano hit a great ball. The long shot by Wiliam Cardoso in the 73rd minute really tested Pedrinho Severo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Célio Leme hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hernani Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Severo having to interfere. Zé Passos hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Aílton Amorim took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Dracena. Chico Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cléberson Medeiros during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Cléberson Medeiros got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Aílton Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Reko-Recko 03™'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Zandarin FC had won, even though Reko-Recko 03™ had held more of the ball.
