The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Cardoso in the 11th minute of play. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jardel Favoretto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Gonçalves in the 21st minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Senna's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Ronaldo Senna got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Cardoso came free, but Lino Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Alcântara in the 32nd minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandro Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maicon Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wiliam Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Gil Velloso got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Cardoso got free with Lino Araújo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Alcântara hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magno Prado during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Tarrasque Voador F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Magno Prado. In the 68th minute Maicon Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wiliam Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When AF CERRADO's Maicon Gonçalves in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tarrasque Voador F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AF CERRADO.
