When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Joaquim Queirós sped through Karaboudjan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Baptista. Chico Ramos hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Joaquim Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Branco in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Karaboudjan's Chico Ramos got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SORRISO E. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karaboudjan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
