After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Délio Arósio got a free kick in the 7th minute. Richard Fantini scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zandarin FC's Délio Arósio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugênio Tasso in the 17 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Fantini in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the game, Mateus Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaboudjan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zandarin FC the free kick. The supporters of Zandarin FC booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Miguel Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aílton Amorim. Remo Motta hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zandarin FC's Richard Fantini got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Augusto Brasil in the 39th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zandarin FC's Pedrinho Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto Brasil in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Andrade in the 44th minute of play forced Zandarin FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Gilvan Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Severo. Zandarin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Fantini made a kick off. Zandarin FC's Pedrinho Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raí Rodrigues in the 53rd minute of play. After 60 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Pinheiro. After 62 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Velloso. 65 minutes into the game, Sandrinho Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaboudjan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zandarin FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Neves. In the 67th minute, Aílton Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zandarin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 71 minutes of play, Zandarin FC's Richard Fantini made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aílton Amorim in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Baptista saved Karaboudjan from getting behind. When Zandarin FC's Aílton Amorim in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karaboudjan's goalie prevented a goal. Pedrinho Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Richard Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Amorim came free, but Miguel Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Zandarin FC could leave the field as winners, despite Karaboudjan having more of the ball for most of the match.
