Horácio Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horácio Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Tarrasque Voador F.C. defense, Aílton Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horácio Félix. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Félix should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the match, Aílton Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horácio Félix. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Michel Urbano's late challenge caught a Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christiano Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Zandarin FC's Michel Urbano got a free kick in the 38th minute. Aílton Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Richard Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zandarin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Fantini to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Zandarin FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Carlos Augusto Secco hit a great ball. If Christiano Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorival da Costa during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tarrasque Voador F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
