In the 43rd minute, Abel Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdo Guimarães was the one to do the kick off. Pedrinho Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jefferson Albuquerque was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. MARINUS MZC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luiz Guilherme Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Zandarin FC's Aílton Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Arósio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Erivaldo Zonta hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Aílton Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 71 minutes into the game, Carlos Augusto Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zandarin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MARINUS MZC the free kick. Evaristo Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Fantini in the 75th minute of play. Perivaldo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Célio Leme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evaristo Arósio. MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 78 played minutes MARINUS MZC got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo Moreira. After 79 played minutes, Zandarin FC's Célio Leme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zandarin FC reached it. Walmir Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Richard Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dorival da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zandarin FC's protests and gave Dorival da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Pedrinho Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Guimarães in the 95th minute of the match.
