The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chicão Quirino during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Chicão Quirino got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Ramos in the 7th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Cristian Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Fantini in the 10th minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Fantini charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Fantini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Bitelon FC - SAF got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Fantini. 16 minutes into the game, Bitelon FC - SAF's Samuca Fantini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Zonta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bitelon FC - SAF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Maicon Baiano scored to the left of an out of position Cristian Furlan, making the score, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Chicão Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Murillo Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ian Queirós took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Zonta. Sílvio Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Chicão Quirino hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Cristian Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Ramos in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruninho Silva made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Bitelon FC - SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Erasmo Ramalho hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Sílvio Zonta was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Ian Queirós capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ian Queirós really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. If Augusto Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuca Fantini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of TAQUARI FC booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Mattos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sílvio Zonta came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Mattos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 75th minute. With 81 minutes on the clock, Chicão Quirino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Chicão Quirino hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Bruninho Silva came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the TAQUARI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, Samuca Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
