After 12 minutes of play, FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Leonard was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Wil 1900's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Fred Nilsson scored to the left of an out of position Lionel Paly, making the score, 2-1. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Nilsson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Emery Heller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Leonard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Fred Nilsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jake Leonard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 35th minute of the match. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Johnny Della Rossa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Lionel Paly was a little too slow when Fred Nilsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tory Pryor was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, WINNING ELEVEN's Fred Nilsson made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lionel Paly was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly. Lionel Paly was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Nilsson came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The WINNING ELEVEN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1.

FC Wil 1900's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
