When Panos Pachopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabachana F.C.'s protests and gave Panos Pachopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tabachana F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Panos Pachopoulos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronalds McDonald got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronalds McDonald. In the 26th match minute, Tabachana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michalis Kalamaridis to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute BLACK STAR FC were awarded a corner. Lucien Ratté went to the cornerflag to take it. Danilo Principe was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Tabachana F.C.'s zone, Hugon Kostka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal and Hugon Kostka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Ronalds McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucien Ratté came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronalds McDonald to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, BLACK STAR FC's Ronalds McDonald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaut Courtois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 56 minutes into the game, Lin Yan Yan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Thibaut Courtois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, BLACK STAR FC's goalkeeper Emmanuel Dandy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Leão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronalds McDonald in the 68th minute of play forced Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Courtois having to interfere. After taking down the ball on BLACK STAR FC's corner Samuel Lago fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thibaut Courtois quite easily take care of the ball. Valentinos Balaouras kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 minutes of play, BLACK STAR FC's Vahdet Ulumeriç made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibaut Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there!
