A sloppy throw-in by Emílio Donatello in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Noisiel's Qi Lang Han. When Harold Combettes came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Noisiel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harold Combettes couldn't finish the play. Karlheinz Ludecke came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Verde FC's Alexsandro Garcia. But to his dismay, Alexsandro Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute Alexsandro Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlheinz Ludecke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karlheinz Ludecke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Noisiel's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Goodman came free, but Karlheinz Ludecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Farges hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The supporters of Noisiel booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mac Oña didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Villa Verde FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Goodman made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Sustrai got free with Karlheinz Ludecke in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Feng Chao Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yaser Jadue's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. The Noisiel fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Noisiel's Yaser Jadue looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 87th minute, Jules Berna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feng Chao Wei was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After 93 played minutes Noisiel got a freekick which was hit by Dominique Saudemont. In the 96th minute Mustapha Debray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feng Chao Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 2-2. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.
