After a defensive mix-up in LLOPS's zone, Albin Holweck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Caldera came out of the goal and Albin Holweck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Calvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Astudillo in the 12th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Caldera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to LLOPS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Feliciano Vadillos hit a great ball. In the 84th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Gudesteo Estruch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 88 minutes of play, LLOPS's Erlantz Astudillo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of LLOPS booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Caldera had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Sachs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of LLOPS's Santiago Caldera. Santiago Caldera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 96th minute. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erlantz Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
