Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Gecionis was left in no man's land by his defense there! AnkaraGücü SK's Edward Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by AnkaraGücü SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Linus Schwerner was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Germany booed when AnkaraGücü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 13th minute. With an all-out effort, AnkaraGücü SK's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Haydar Saygur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gürsel Kiram sent off a good shot on target. Gürsel Kiram who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The AnkaraGücü SK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when AnkaraGücü SK's Mustafa Haydar Saygur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Mustafa Haydar Saygur sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AnkaraGücü SK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Aquilino Ruy hit a great ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Mustafa Haydar Saygur tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Hodyl in the 31st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Haydar Saygur in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Edward Gecionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Mustafa Haydar Saygur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Haydar Saygur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mustafa Haydar Saygur was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, AnkaraGücü SK's Aquilino Ruy got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Haydar Saygur came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. Edward Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrich Stein in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Haydar Saygur in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mustafa Haydar Saygur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Mustafa Haydar Saygur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AnkaraGücü SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kutlay Adem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Haydar Saygur in the 93rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Haydar Saygur in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the AnkaraGücü SK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
