Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandro Galishoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. Celsinho Neiva hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Eurico Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 15th minute, Gerson Tinoco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sandro Galishoff took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anderson do Nascimento. Anderson do Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Anderson do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Galishoff in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gigabyte Futebol's zone, Sandro Galishoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson do Nascimento came out of the goal and Sandro Galishoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 42 minutes, Jonas Nalder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Gigabyte Futebol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Austria's Jonas Nalder got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half Austria were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Teles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anderson do Nascimento came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Schneider slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Gigabyte Futebol booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Nalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Sandro Galishoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Austria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandro Galishoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Fabio Schneider managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Schneider was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 played minutes Gigabyte Futebol got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Tinoco. Leonhard Maier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson do Nascimento having to interfere. Fabio Schneider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Anderson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Toledo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gigabyte Futebol. Jonas Nalder was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Gigabyte Futebol booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Nalder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Teles in the 97th minute of the match.
