The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaueko Nanclares got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Gaueko Nanclares came free, but Pankracy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Gaueko Nanclares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Gaueko Nanclares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaueko Nanclares was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute Gaueko Nanclares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Momentum FC's protests and gave Esteban Aguirre a yellow card for diving instead.
