Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilson Amorim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute, Tonko Urban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 7-2. Lipovljani's Mihovil Štibić got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A very nice done corner allowed Giovanni van Bronckhorst to score against Wilson Amorim in Portugal's goal. 8-2 after 72 minutes. In the 94th minute, Domagoj Grković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-2. Lovro Majer kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Tonko Urban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lipovljani's supporters rose to their feet, but Tonko Urban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
