Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Trenel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Arnoldo Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Sandalio having to interfere. Arnoldo Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Sandalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Alastair Moody's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Trenel AFC's Manfred Kjellqvist in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, Alastair Moody hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Trenel AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Timoteo Matro hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes Trenel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Montanari. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alastair Moody to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Trenel AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Matro to maneuver through the defense. Trenel AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celedonio Frascuelo in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alastair Moody in the 60th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st of the match, Lars Meesters tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Arnoldo Sandalio got in the way and made a wonderful save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Gregory in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnoldo Sandalio, 1-1. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Manfred Kjellqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Alberto Misael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Trenel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Arnoldo Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Lars Meesters left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 82nd minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnoldo Sandalio. Arnoldo Sandalio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Kjellqvist in the 87th minute of play. Arnoldo Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trenel AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Celedonio Frascuelo, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
