In the 4th minute of the match PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES got a corner. Team Figo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Basso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Walter Spetz came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's Edmundo Basso. But to his dismay, Edmundo Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Edmundo Basso took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Spetz. Walter Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 19th minute, Edmundo Basso made a precise shot to the right of Walter Spetz. Team Figo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some careless play in the Team Figo defense, Joaquin Jobo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Spetz. The Team Figo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Spetz should have stopped the shot. Walter Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Basso in the 32nd minute of the match. Fredrik Sundströms short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Emil Turek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Walter Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Basso in the 44th minute of play. Remo Gerber might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Spetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remo Gerber ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's goalkeeper Emil Turek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Sundström. The Team Figo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES were winning 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Sundström to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Joaquin Jobo rounded Team Figo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. 59 minutes into the game, Joaquin Jobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Figo the free kick. The supporters of Team Figo booed when PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Jobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Basso got free with Walter Spetz in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Jobo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Spetz having to make a save. 66 minutes into the match, Edmundo Basso notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Team Figo's Walter Spetz. Walter Spetz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Jobo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Spetz came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquin Jobo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 69th minute. Joaquin Jobo scored 0-13 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Spetz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the game, PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's Edmundo Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Spetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. After 81 minutes of play, PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's Joaquin Jobo made it 0-15 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Spetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Betão Tavares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walter Spetz, 0-16. In the 90th minute, Edmundo Basso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Spetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-17. Team Figo's Walter Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Team Figo from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Team Figo got a freekick which was hit by Mårten Bivall. The long shot by Edmundo Basso in the 94th minute really tested Walter Spetz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Walter Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Gerber in the 95th minute of play. PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
