The audience thought a goal was coming when Boguslaw Kaider got free with Hacı Ali Zafer in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Thorsberg in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Aureliano Senin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ireland 1921's protests and gave Aureliano Senin a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Martino Sana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ducktwig FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Martino Sana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Gaxan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th match minute, Ireland 1921 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Walker to maneuver through the defense. Hacı Ali Zafer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Kaider in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Leonel Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hacı Ali Zafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Criston to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Leonel Criston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hacı Ali Zafer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Ducktwig FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Criston came free, but Hacı Ali Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Generoso Gaxan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martino Sana in the 58th minute. Ducktwig FC's Hacı Ali Zafer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Bilbo in the 61st minute of play. Hacı Ali Zafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Criston in the 62nd minute of the match. Hacı Ali Zafer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Kaider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Ducktwig FC's Generoso Gaxan threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcos Eger, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, Patricio Roderigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ireland 1921's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ducktwig FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ireland 1921's Patricio Roderigo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Eger in the 74th minute of play forced Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Marcos Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
