The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8thth minute of the game Romeo Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ducktwig FC's Hacı Ali Zafer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Romeo Mel sped through Ducktwig FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hacı Ali Zafer. Hacı Ali Zafer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Jokin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ducktwig FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Jokin was slow to take the kick. During this time SOUTH AFRICA's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, Ducktwig FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Mel came free, but Hacı Ali Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Ducktwig FC's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Jokin came free, but Hacı Ali Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Artemio Jokin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. After 39 played minutes Ducktwig FC got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bern. Romeo Mel scored 1-7 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hacı Ali Zafer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Feliciano Osmundo in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ducktwig FC's Kjell Bern. Hacı Ali Zafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Ted in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half SOUTH AFRICA were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Mel made a kick off. Ducktwig FC's Hacı Ali Zafer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Jokin in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Artemio Jokin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hacı Ali Zafer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Hacı Ali Zafer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Mel in the 65th minute. Claes Brogren hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Romeo Mel came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hacı Ali Zafer could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, SOUTH AFRICA's Hacı Ali Zafer threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Artemio Jokin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kjell Bern kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Ducktwig FC got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bern. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ducktwig FC's goalkeeper Hacı Ali Zafer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ducktwig FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Terris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. Hacı Ali Zafer came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH AFRICA's Artemio Jokin. But to his dismay, Artemio Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-10. In the 91st minute Artemio Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hacı Ali Zafer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ducktwig FC's Hacı Ali Zafer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Jokin in the 94th minute of play.
