Walter Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bozkurt Tanyıldız in the 13th minute of the match. If Stanley St Clair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goal looked a bit too open when Stanley St Clair came free, but Walter Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gençlerbirliği's Dursun Ekinci got control of the ball when Roger Bratt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Team Figo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gençlerbirliği the free kick. In the 36th minute, Malcolm Biörling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walter Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley St Clair in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Stanley St Clair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 48 played minutes, Team Figo's Villiam Wållander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dursun Ekinci came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Team Figo reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredrik Sundström to make the kick off. Stanley St Clair took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Spetz. Walter Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanley St Clair got free with Walter Spetz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanley St Clair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Spetz was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Stanley St Clair capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stanley St Clair really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Team Figo's Walter Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Team Figo from getting a goal against them. Dursun Ekinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Sundström in the 72nd minute of the match. Team Figo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Stanley St Clair scored to the left of an out of position Walter Spetz, making the score, 0-8. When Gençlerbirliği's Stanley St Clair in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Figo's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Stanley St Clair took a quick shot and it went in 0-10 without a chance for Walter Spetz to make any attempt to save it. Dursun Ekinci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Wållander in the 95th minute of play.
