Walter Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Castulo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Nunez Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Walter Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Team Figo's Walter Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Castulo in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Lavan Querubin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Walter Spetz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walter Spetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Berasko went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Nunez Berasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Spetz. Team Figo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nunez Berasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Argentino de Banfield from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the game, Argentino de Banfield's Raimundo Castulo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Spetz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 31 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goal looked a bit too open when Lavan Querubin came free, but Walter Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Rosalio came free, but Walter Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Nunez Berasko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentino de Banfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Berasko was the one to do the kick off. Nunez Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Walter Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Biörling kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Raimundo Castulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentino de Banfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Walter Spetz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, Argentino de Banfield's Walter Spetz threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nunez Berasko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 72 minutes of play, Argentino de Banfield's Raimundo Castulo made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Spetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimundo Castulo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Spetz. Walter Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. After a rather tough play, Team Figo's Fredrik Sundström got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Allan Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Sundström in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Argentino de Banfield booed when Team Figo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villiam Wållander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argentino de Banfield played a much better game than Team Figo and deserved their victory. The Team Figo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
