Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romeo Dominic, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Romeo Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Gaxan having to interfere. Isaac Terris kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Generoso Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Mel in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match SOUTH AFRICA got a corner. Ireland 1921's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Jokin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Generoso Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Ted in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Leonel Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Criston in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Herbert Banaszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Gaxan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Mel in the 31st minute of play. SOUTH AFRICA's Romeo Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Criston in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ireland 1921's Isidoro Bilbo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Generoso Gaxan came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH AFRICA's Artemio Jokin. But to his dismay, Artemio Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Elvio Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Gaxan having to interfere. Romeo Dominic made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Boguslaw Kaider sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SOUTH AFRICA booed when Ireland 1921 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Banaszak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Mel's late challenge caught a Ireland 1921's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Mel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Romeo Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Romeo Mel made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Gaxan. Ireland 1921's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 55th match minute, SOUTH AFRICA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Mel to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Dominic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Kaider's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Herbert Banaszak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Bilbo in the 81st minute of play forced SOUTH AFRICA's goalkeeper Romeo Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvio Ted got free with Generoso Gaxan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Generoso Gaxan was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Elvio Ted capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elvio Ted really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ireland 1921's goalkeeper Generoso Gaxan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, SOUTH AFRICA's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Pinho came free, but Romeo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, SOUTH AFRICA's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Bilbo came free, but Romeo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
